OUR MAIN PROJECTS.
-
AI-Based ESG Assessment & Compliance Tool (Mining Sector Focus)

PATH has developed a proprietary, purpose-built AI-based ESG Assessment Tool designed specifically for the mining sector. The tool provides client-facing ESG compliance and gap analysis aligned with CSRD, GRI, IFRS S1 & S2, and other global sustainability standards. It supports sustainability reporting, regulatory readiness, double materiality assessments, responsible sourcing, and supplier compliance, particularly for mining companies and their value chains.
2. Sustainable Finance & Local Content Support for Mining SMEs

PATH is actively working on sustainable finance solutions to support citizen-owned and citizen-empowered companies in Zambia’s mining value chain. This includes designing financing frameworks, sustainability-linked loans and bonds, guarantees, and blended finance structures to help local mining service providers meet capital needs, comply with Local Content Regulations, and scale sustainably in partnership with major mining firms such as FQM.
3. Utility-Scale Renewable Energy (Solar PV & Battery Storage)

PATH is supporting the development of utility-scale solar PV and battery energy storage (BESS) projects, starting with a 50MW/50MWh solar + BESS project valued at approximately $50 million in the Kalumbila Multi Facility Economic Zone. This project targets affordable and clean energy supply for the mining sector, contributes to decarbonization aligned with the 1.5°C pathway, and is structured using blended finance with multilateral, DFI, and private capital.
